Ringland Primary School is a highly caring and nurturing school.  Our ethos has a strong focus on the wellbeing of its pupils.  We successfully ensure that nearly all of our children feel secure, safe, happy and are ready to focus on their learning each day.  In our recent inspection report (January 2020), Estyn recognised the schools care, support and guidance as excellent.

"Staff know their pupils very well and ensure that those with emotional or social difficulties receive effective support.  Teachers implement a consistent approach to teach children how to regulate their feelings and emotions.  For example, each classroom displays an emotional thermometer and staff coach pupils on how they feel using the thermometer."
